Description of Change: An improved fan spider assembly is available for the above engines. The improved fan spider assembly provides a longer service life because the steel laminates are riveted instead of spot welded.

Adaptable To: The improved 115-1783 Fan Spider Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 4P-7190 Fan Spider Assembly used in the 7W-5639 Blower Fan Group and 7W-5642 Suction Fan Group. The former 4P-7190 Fan Spider Assembly has been discontinued.

The improved 115-1783 Fan Spider Assembly is adaptable back to first production.
