New Adapters In Turbocharger Groups Provide Improved Sealing Between The Turbocharger And Exhaust Elbow{1061,1065}

Description of Change: Two new adapters are being used to couple the turbocharger turbine housing exhaust outlet and the exhaust elbow on these engines. These new adapters replace the slip-in coupling that was formerly used. The new configuration eliminates two couplings and two seal groups from each turbocharger group. This results in improved sealing between turbocharger exhaust outlet and the exhaust elbow.

Adaptable To: The chart and illustration identify the changes to the 9Y-4562, 9Y-4563, and 9Y-5598 Turbocharger Groups on the above engines. The new components, when used together, are direct replacements for the former components.
