Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Reports have been received that the AC compressor may not function properly on the machines listed above. This failure occurs due to the interruption of reverse fan operation. Even after restarting the engine, AC compressor will not be operated and no cool air from the air conditioner. This problem occurs both in Auto mode or Manual mode of the reverse fan.

Solution

In the event of failure, activate the reverse fan by Auto mode or Manual mode and then complete the reverse fan activation without any interruption. After the reverse fan is completed correctly, AC ECU and machine ECM will communicate properly.

Additional information regarding failure and effective interim repair can be submitted to the CPI team through CPI feedback function within Service Information Management Systems (SIMSi) referencing CPI number 425697.
