Transmission Oil Cooler - Remove and Install

Usage:

C7.1 GJN

Removal Procedure

Reference: Special Instruction, "Visual Service Procedures - Colors and Symbols" , M0066576.

Start By:

  1. Remove the transmission oil pressure sensor.

  2. Remove the transmission oil temperature sensor.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


  1. Turn the sea water feed to the OFF position.

  2. For Keel cooled, drain the coolant from the circuit.

    Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission oil cooler in the reverse order of removal.
