Modulating Valve (Electronic Clutch Pressure Control)

(2) Tank return port (3) Clutch supply port (4) Supply oil port | |
In the activated position the solenoid (1) receives a signal from the ECM. The solenoid pushes the spool to the right and compresses the spring. Supply oil from the pump flows into the valve through supply oil port (4). The oil flows through the spool to clutch supply port (3). The oil from clutch supply port (3) flows to the clutch.
