New Rack Shutoff Solenoid Available
Usage:
3400 Series Industrial, Marine And Generator Set Engines
Description of Change: A new rack shutoff solenoid is available for the above engines. The new solenoid will give longer service life.
Adaptable As: The new 9G8180 Rack Shutoff Solenoid is available for replacement of the 2N2385 Rack Shutoff Solenoid. A 2W6386 Time Delay Conversion Group must be installed with the new solenoid. See the article, "New Time Delay Conversion Group Available" in the August 25, 1982 Engine News.
If the 2W6386 Time Delay Conversion Group is not used with the 9G8180 Solenoid, failure of the temperature and pressure switches is possible.
