New Sealant Used Between The Fuel Injection Pump/Governor Drive Housing And Cylinder Block
Usage:
All D379, G379, D398, D399 And G399 Engines
Description of Change: A new sealant is now used in the governor and fuel pump drive group on the above engines. The new sealant is used to prevent oil leakage from between the fuel injection pump and governor drive housing and the cylinder block.
Adaptable As: The new 6V6640 Sealant is a direct replacement for the former 7M7260 Liquid Gasket Material in this application. Instructions for the use of the new sealant are on the container.
