- Raise the right-hand hood to the fully open position.

Illustration 2 g06092208 - Remove snap ring (3). Remove retaining pin (2).
- Cut all cable straps securing harness assembly (4) to right-hand hood (1). Place harness assembly (4) out of the way.

- Using the lifting device attached in Step 2, lower the right-hand hood to the closed position. Remove the lifting device.

- Install right-hand hood (1) in the reverse order of removal.
