Engine Lifting Bracket - Remove and Install

- Remove bolt (2) from lifting bracket (1).
- Remove lifting bracket (1) from cylinder head (3).
- Clean the thread lock from bolt (2).
- Remove bolt (5) from lifting bracket (4).
- Remove lifting bracket (4) from cylinder head (3).
- Clean the thread lock from bolt (5).

- Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolt (5).
- Position lifting bracket (4) onto cylinder head (3). Refer to Illustration 3.
- Install bolt (5) finger tight to lifting bracket (4). Tighten the bolt to a torque of
50 N·m (37 lb ft) . - Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolt (2).
- Position lifting bracket (1) onto cylinder head (3). Refer to Illustration 4.
- Install bolt (2) finger tight to lifting bracket (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of
50 N·m (37 lb ft) .
