Ha ezt a munkagépet tárgyak emelésére használják olyan területen, amelyre a "2006/42/EK" európai irányelv vonatkozik, a gépet gémleeresztő szabályozószeleppel, kanálszár-leeresztő szabályozószeleppel és túlterhelésjelző eszközzel kell ellátni.
Amennyiben a munkagéppel Japán területén használja tárgyak emelésére, a japán előírások kotrókanalas daru használatát követelik meg.
