Start By:

  1. Remove fuel cooler.

  2. Remove radiator group.

    Use a suitable lifting device to support the radiator core.

  1. Remove bolts (1), bolt (3), bolts (4), and brace assembly (2).

  2. Remove bolts (5), bolt (7), bolts (8), and brace assembly (6).

  3. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to remove guard assembly (9). The weight of guard assembly (9) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb).

  4. Remove bolts (10) and guard assembly (9).

  5. Remove bolts (13), guard assemblies (14), hose (11), and hose (12).

  6. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator tank assembly (15) and radiator tank assembly (16). The combined weight of radiator tank assembly (15) and radiator tank assembly (16) is approximately 161 kg (355 lb).

  7. Remove bolts (17), bolts (18), radiator tank assembly (15), radiator tank assembly (16), and the gaskets.

  8. Remove core spacer assembly (19).

  9. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (20). The weight of radiator core assembly (20) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  10. Remove bolts (21), bolts (22), radiator core assembly (20), and the gasket.

  11. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (24). The weight of radiator core assembly (24) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  12. Remove bolts (23), bolts (25), radiator core assembly (24), and the gasket.

  13. Use a suitable lifting device to remove plenum box assembly (26). The weight of plenum box assembly is approximately 69 kg (152 lb).

  14. Remove bolts (27), bolts (28), and plenum box assembly (26).

  15. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (30). The weight of radiator core assembly (30) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  16. Remove bolts (29), bolts (31), radiator core assembly (30), and the gasket.

  17. Remove core spacer assembly (32).

  18. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (31). The weight of radiator core assembly (31) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  19. Remove bolts (33), radiator core assembly (32), and the gasket.

  20. Remove core spacer assembly (37).

  21. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (34). The weight of radiator core assembly (34) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  22. Remove bolts (35), bolts (36), radiator core assembly (34), and the gaskets.

  23. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (38). The weight of radiator core assembly (38) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  24. Remove bolts (39), bolts (40), radiator core assembly (38), and the gaskets.

  25. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (41). The weight of radiator core assembly (41) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  26. Remove bolts (42), radiator core assembly (41), and the gaskets.

  27. Remove core spacer assembly (44).

  28. Use a suitable lifting device to remove radiator core assembly (43). The weight of radiator core assembly (43) is approximately 63 kg (139 lb).

  29. Remove bolts (45), radiator core assembly (43), and the gaskets.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator core in the reverse order of removal.
