  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to exhaust manifold (8). The weight of exhaust manifold (8) is approximately 37 kg (82 lb).

  2. Place the gaskets and exhaust manifold (8) into position on the cylinder head.

  3. Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (7) that hold the exhaust manifold in place. Install bolts (7).

  4. Position harness housing assembly (6) and install bolts (4).

  5. Connect tube assembly (2) and hose assembly (5).

  6. Connect harness assemblies (3) and (1).

  7. Install bolts (2).

  8. Install the spark plug wires.

  9. Connect tube assembly (1).

  10. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

End By:

  1. Install the electronic control module.

  2. Install the turbocharger.
