Bolted Flange Exhaust Is Now Used on G3520E Engines {1059}

Description of Change: The new flange design has been released to improve the reliability of the sealing joints for the exhaust group.
Adaptable To: The new flange design has been released on certain G3520E high ambient high altitude configured engines that use 380-1765 Turbocharger Gp or 363-9892 Turbocharger Gp. The bolted flange exhaust offers more evenly distributed clamping force at the joint. This results in a better seal at the joint. When installing the bolted flange exhaust, ensure that specified torque values are met.
Note: The turbochargers purchased for service replacement on any G3520E engines may require a slight orientation change.
