Fuel Tank Strainer - Clean

Usage:

3516B ME8
A fuel tank strainer protects the fuel tank solenoid valve from debris that could cause valve failure in the open, or closed state.

Inspect the basket and o-ring for damage.

Strainers should be checked every time the engine fuel filters are changed.

Strainers should be checked more frequently during plant startup, as fuel plumbing may contain weld slag and other debris. Debris could damage the strainer mesh, and prevent the mesh from protecting the solenoid valve.
