New Engine Software Is Used on Certain C175 Electric Power Generation (EPG) Engines {1901, 1920}

Usage:

C175-16 WYB
Electric Power Generation:
C175-16 (S/N: WYB1-UP)

Description of Change: The new engine software resolves memory corruption issues related to the 268-2 Programmed Parameter Fault : Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect diagnostic code. Also, the new software resolves potential overcooling issues. These overcooling issues are caused by improper communication between the engine Electronic Control Module (ECM) and the electronic thermostat Temperature Control Module (TCM).

Adaptable To: The new 462-3149 Engine Software replaces the existing software on Tier 2, 60 Hz EPG engines using the 349-2522 Fuel Injector Gp .

Note: The 462-3147 Engine Software is a service only flash file for engines built with either the 331-5894 Fuel Injector Gp or the 331-5895 Fuel Injector Gp. These injectors are no longer built in new production engines.The effective serial numbers utilizing the new 462-3149 Engine Software are WYB01542-UP.
