ACERT Cylinder Heads Are Used in the "Platinum" Rebuild Kits for Certain 3406E, C-15, and C-16 Truck Engines {1000, 1100}

Straight Thread O-ring (STOR) adapters are included in the "Platinum" rebuild kits to convert the pipe threads to STOR on any connections the trucks may need.
The heads have extra holes machined in the top deck for the Variable Valve Actuator (VVA) mounting hardware. The extra holes will not be utilized with these older engines.
The new parts are listed in Table 1.

Note: If the aftermarket clutch fan temperature sensor does not fit through adaptor (7), contact the supplier of the fan clutch for a sensor compatible with an S/N:MXS vintage engine.
