Usage:

Kada motor ne radi tijekom duljih vremenskih razdoblja ili radi samo nakratko, akumulatori se možda neće do kraja napuniti. Pobrinite se da su akumulatori potpuno puni kako biste ih zaštitili od zamrzavanja. Ako su akumulatori propisno napunjeni, očitanje ampermetra treba biti vrlo blizu nule dok motor radi.

Svi olovni akumulatori s kiselinom sadrže sumpornu kiselinu koja može uzrokovati opekline na koži i uništenje odjeće. Kod rada na ili blizu akumulatora uvijek treba nositi štitnik za lice i zaštitnu odjeću.

Uklonite poklopce za punjenje. Razinu elektrolita održavajte do oznake "FULL" (PUNO) na akumulatoru.
Ako morate doliti vodu, uporabite destiliranu vodu. Ako destilirana voda nije dostupna, uporabite čistu vodu koja sadrži malo minerala. Nemojte umjetno omekšanu vodu.
Provjerite stanje elektrolita s pomoću 245-5829 refraktometra za ispitivanje rashladne tekućine i akumulatora.
Akumulatore održavajte čistima.
Očistite kućište akumulatora jednom od sljedećih otopina za čišćenje:
- Uporabite otopinu 0.1 kg (0.2 lb) sode bikarbone i 1 L (1 qt) čiste vode.
- Uporabite otopinu amonijevog hidroksida.
Temeljito isperite kućište akumulatora čistom vodom.
Finim brusnim papirom očistite polove akumulatora i stezaljke kabela. Čistite stavke dok površine ne postaju svijetle ili sjajne. NEMOJTE prekomjerno uklanjati materijal. Zbog prekomjernog uklanjanja materijala stezaljke možda neće pravilno pristajati. Premažite pritege i priključke 5N-5561 silikonskim mazivom, vazelinom ili MPGM-om.
