Vibration Damper - Remove and Install

- Remove bolts (1) and cover (2).
- Remove four nuts (4) and remove guard assembly (3).

Illustration 2 g03404041 - Remove two bolts (5) from vibration damper (6). Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to vibration damper (6). The weight of vibration damper (6) is approximately
204 kg (450 lb) . - Use Tooling (B) in order to apply equal tension to the suitable lifting device.
- Remove bolts (7) in order to remove vibration damper (6). Remove the adapter from the engine.

- Install vibration damper (6) in the reverse order of removal.
