3406B (8TC, 4MG) Truck Engines Equipped With BrakeSavers

Description of Change: A new throttle limit switch group is used on 3406B Truck Engines equipped with BrakeSavers. Also, the throttle limit switch assembly and the shutoff solenoid group are now separately grounded for improved component reliability.
Adaptable To: The new 9X0239 Switch Assembly, which replaces the former 6T1990 Limit Switch Assembly, is effective with serial numbers 8TC7477-Up and 4MG52109-Up. See Special Instruction listed in reference above for additional parts needed and installation procedures. The 8C9986 Shutoff Solenoid Group is grounded separately on engines with serial numbers 8TC1413-Up and 4MG3600-Up.
