Engine Speed/Timing Sensor - Clean/Inspect

Typical engine speed/timing sensor | |
- Remove the engine speed/timing sensor from the flywheel housing. Check the condition of the end of the engine speed/timing sensor. Check for signs of wear and contaminants.
- Clean the metal shavings and other debris from the face of the magnet.
- Install the engine speed/timing sensor according to the information in the Service Manual, "Specifications".
