An Improved Oil Filter Assembly Cover Is Now Used on Certain C9 Marine Engines {1306, 1308}

Generator Set: C9 MARINE GEN (S/N: SJB1-UP) C9 MARINE GS (S/N: C9A1-UP)

Description of Change: An improved oil filter assembly cover is now used on the engines that are listed above. The improved oil filter assembly cover is less restrictive and allows for a lower oil pressure differential in the duplex oil filter assembly.

Adaptable To: The 292-8186 Cover As is a direct replacement for the 243-3386 Cover As .

The new 292-8186 Cover As is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines. The change is effective at the factory with the engine serial numbers C9A00985-UP, C9Y00319-UP and SJB01086-UP.
