Note: The former 142-1939 Belt Guard Gp is replaced by the new 354-6900 Radiator Guard Gp which is serviceable by fan guard parts listed in Table 1.

Replace fan with updated fan. The updated fan is identified by a mold injection number of "104707". Replace fan guard assembly group with updated version of the fan guard assembly group.
The new fan assembly is adaptable back to the first production of the above listed generator sets.
The new version fan has been effective in production since June 2010. The new version fan guard is being phased into production throughout 2011.
