- 将一层 3 mm (0.1181 in) 长连续的工具 (B) 涂抹到位置 (Y) 中的密封表面。

- 将工具 (A) 定位到曲轴前油封 (2) 上。
- 使用工具 (A) 顺时针转动曲轴前油封 (2) 。
- 如果需要涂抹扭矩大于 50 N·m (37 lb ft) 的曲轴以安装曲轴前油封 (2) ，拆下曲轴前油封 (2) 。 检查曲轴前油封和前盖有无故障或损坏。
- 如有必要，重复步骤 2 至 5，以安装曲轴前油封 (2) 。
