Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Electronic Unit Injector - Adjust" for the correct procedure for setting the lash on the electronic unit injector.

Note: Before installation of the unit injector, lubricate two O-ring seals (6) with a 50/50 mixture of clean engine oil and 8T-2998 Lubricant.

(1) Torque for the nut ... 6 ± 3 N·m (4 ± 2 lb ft)

(2) Tighten the bolt to the following torque: ... 55 ± 10 N·m (41 ± 7 lb ft)
