Description of Change: Some of the impurities that are found in bio-gas can contaminate the engine oil. Over time, the capability of the engine oil to neutralize the contamination is reduced. This can result in corrosion of the engine oil cooler.
The improved oil cooler core is more resistant to corrosion.
Adaptable To: The improved 311-7484 Engine Oil Cooler Core is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.
The 311-7484 Engine Oil Cooler Core is intended for use with the above engines that use bio-gas.
The 311-7484 Engine Oil Cooler Core replaces the 4W-5405 Oil Cooler Core Gp in the above engines that use bio-gas. The 4W-5405 Oil Cooler Core Gp is not cancelled.
