UPSB 130 XTC

Network Management Card (NMC) Option

The NMC is a communications card. The card is used for the following:

  • Supervise a three-phase device.

  • Protect a three-phase device.

Each UPS can be equipped with a maximum of four NMC communications cards.

Optional Communications Card with Additional Power Relay

The UPS is equipped with a relay communications card. This option allows the user to add another card with programmable power-relay functions.

Optional Serial Communications Card

This is a serial communications card that uses the RS232 protocol or the RS485 protocol. The card operates under the JBUS protocol.

AS4I Option

This option consists of a low-power relay card that is used for the shutoff and the scheduling functions.

Multislot Option

This option consists of communications cards that allow the communication between two UPS units that are connected in parallel.

External Synchronization Module Option

This option adds a SYNIN communications card and two circuit breakers to each UPS unit. The external synchronization module issues a reference frequency that is used in order to synchronize the UPS units.

Note: Check the different input signal levels and output signal levels on the four optional communication cards. The levels include the following: LV, ELV and SELV. Use the appropriate wiring.
