Before beginning this procedure, ensure that all lockout/tagout procedures for the site are followed to prevent power being applied while the equipment is serviced.

To access the connections, remove the protection cover (12). Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Component Description".
- The grounding wires must be connected to the connections for the grounding plate of the UPS (17) .
Note: The grounding plate should be attached to earth ground with a grounding rod or other suitable ground per the grounding specifications of the site.
Failure to connect the unit to a suitable grounding electrode creates an electrical shock hazard. An electrical shock will result in serious personal injury or death. |
- Connect the three phases of the normal AC source to connection (16) .
- Connect the three phases that are supplying the load to connection (18) .
- Connect the external battery to connection (15) .
- Secure the cables to the frame.
- Reinstall the protection cover.
