Product Location

Usage:

UPSB 130 XTC
The UPS must be installed in a room that is restricted to qualified personnel only.

The cabinet rests on four cylindrical feet that are 40 mm (1.6 inch) in diameter. The feet are positioned in the four corners of the cabinet to distribute the weight of the cabinet to all of the feet.

Required dimensions for placement of cabinet

(X) 0 mm to 600 mm (24 inch) - The cabinet can operate even if the cabinet is placed against the wall. Leave at least 600 mm (24 inch) to provide ease of maintenance if the cabinet is placed against a wall.

(Y) > 500 mm - To prevent an abnormal rise of the temperature above the cabinet, maintain at least 500 mm (20 inch) between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling. Do not place any objects on top of the cabinet. Placing objects on top of the cabinet will restrict the flow of air that is used for cooling the cabinet.

(Z) > 1000 mm - There must be at least 1000 mm (40 inch) of space in front of the cabinet to allow the door to open and access the components of the UPS.

Note: The Z distance exceeds the NEC requirement of 900 mm (35.5 inch) for access to electrical equipment. Individual site requirements for blast zone or acc flash may require greater distances and should be determined by an engineer on the site.
