Ensure sufficient isolation of power, control, and communication cables. Run the communication cables separately from the power cables. Reinforce the insulation of the control and communication cables if any risk of contact with the power cables exists. Running the cables together may cause unintentional contact with live power cables resulting in serious personal injury or death. |
- Separate the control and communication cables from the power cables.
- Route the cables together in front of the protection panels.
- Using cable straps, secure the cables to the panels as indicated by the arrows in Illustration 1 .
