Engine Front Support Now Machined To Prevent Possible Failure Of The Support Brackets For the Power Takeoff{1153,3055}

Usage:

3408 Industrial and Marine Engines;
3412 Marine Engines

Description of Change: A new front support is used on the above engines. The top surface of the new support is machined for nine and one-half inches from either side of the center of the support. This gives a smooth, flat surface for the support brackets on a front power takeoff to seat against. The top surface of the former front support was sometimes out of flat enough to cause the base on the support brackets to break when the retainer bolts were tightened.

Adaptable To: The new 8N7096 Support Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 6N212 Support Assembly which has been canceled.
