(1) Torque for the clamp assembly ... 13.5 ± 1.0 N·m (119.5 ± 8.9 lb in)

(2) Use the following procedure to tighten the clamp assembly:

1. Tighten the clamp assembly to 18.1 N·m (160.2 lb in).

2. Loosen the clamp assembly to 5.6 N·m (50.0 lb in).

3. Again, tighten the clamp assembly to 13.5 ± 1.0 N·m (119.5 ± 8.9 lb in).

(3) Opening pressure of the wastegate at 0.50 mm (0.020 inch) lift ... 180 kPa (26 psi)

Note: Before assembly, apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of the locknuts.

(4) Torque for four locknuts ... 54 ± 5 N·m (39.8 ± 3.7 lb ft)
