(C) Thickness of new thrust washer ... 8.50 ± 0.05 mm (0.335 ± 0.002 inch)

(D) Dimensions for the bearing journal

Diameter of bearing journal ... 85.88 ± 0.02 mm (3.381 ± 0.001 inch)

Bore in camshaft bearing after installation ... 86.00 ± 0.06 mm (3.386 ± 0.002 inch)

(E) Camshaft lobe lift

Inlet lobe ... 7.500 mm (0.2953 inch)

Exhaust lobe ... 8.699 mm (0.3425 inch)

In order to determine the actual camshaft lobe lift, use the following procedure:

1. Measure camshaft lobe height (F).

2. Measure base circle (G).

3. Subtract the base circle (G) from the camshaft lobe height (F). The difference is the actual camshaft lobe lift.
