New Software Is Available for C18 Marine Engines {1901, 1920}

Description of Change: The new software improves engine performance at no load. The new software reduces the chance of a false 1249-8 diagnostic code.
Adaptable To: If the engine speed has tended to remain running at a high idle rpm or if false 1249-8 diagnostic codes have been generated, then flash the latest software into the Electronic Control Modules (ECM) of the engine. The part numbers that are listed in Table 1 are direct replacements for the former part numbers.
