- 热交换器管的清洁度
- 热交换系统的效率
如循环水含杂质，将会对热交换系统产生不良影响。 此外，容器的间歇性使用也将会对热交换系统产生不良影响。
出现下列情况时，表明热交换器可能需要清洁：
- 冷却液温度升高
- 发动机过热
- 水进口和水出口的压降过高
熟悉冷却液正常工作温度的操作员可以确定何时冷却液温度超出了正常范围。 如果发动机过热，则需要对热交换器进行检查和保养。
