Air Filter Element - Clean/Replace

Usage:

UPS 750 CPM

Clean

Clean the aluminum filter after 90 days of operation. If the environment dictates, the aluminum filter should be cleaned more often. Guidelines for the cleaning of the aluminum filter are in the following list:

  • There is an excessive buildup of dust.

  • The aluminum filter is deflecting excessively due to blockage of the air flow.

  • The system temperatures are steadily increasing.

Replace

Change the paper filter after 90 days of operation. If the environment dictates, the paper filter should be changed more often. Guidelines for the replacement of the paper filter are in the following list:

  • There is an excessive buildup of dust.

  • The paper filter is deflecting excessively due to blockage of the air flow.

  • The system temperatures are steadily increasing.

Removal

  1. Locate the screen that needs to be removed.

  1. Remove the four screws that attach the screen to the door.

    Note: Hold the screen in place. Do not allow the screen to fall when the screws are removed.

  1. Carefully pry the screen out of the depression in the cabinet door. The screen is loosely placed in the cabinet door. The air filter that is located behind the screen is loose.

  1. Remove the air filter.

Installation

  1. Place the air filter in the depression of the door before you install the screen. Ensure that the air is facing inward.

    Note: Be sure that the filter is dry before you install the filter in the door.

  1. Place the front screen in the rectangular depression on the cabinet door. Line up the holes for the screws.

  1. Insert the four screws into the four corners of the screen. Hand tighten the screws.
