Installation Procedure

  1. Install temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and temperature sensor (flame detect) (5) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and to the threads of temperature sensor (flame detect) (5).

    2. Tighten temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and temperature sensor (flame detect) (5) to a torque of 45 ± 5 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft).

Note: Always replace the metal cable straps with a comparable cable strap. Do not use plastic cable straps.

Note: Route harness assembly (1) in the original location to protect harness assembly (1) from heat.
