- Open right side door assembly (1).
- Remove bolts (2) and cover assembly (3).

- Cut the cable straps and disconnect harness assembly (4).

- Install temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and temperature sensor (flame detect) (5) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and to the threads of temperature sensor (flame detect) (5).
- Tighten temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (6) and temperature sensor (flame detect) (5) to a torque of
45 ± 5 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft) .Note: Always replace the metal cable straps with a comparable cable strap. Do not use plastic cable straps.
Note: Route harness assembly (1) in the original location to protect harness assembly (1) from heat.
