Personal injury or death may result from failure to adhere to the following procedures. Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. Clean up all leaked or spilled fuel. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system. Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters. |

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |

Failure to install a vented fuel cap on a nonpressurized fuel tank could create a vacuum in the fuel system. A vacuum could cause damage to the fuel system components and/or inefficient engine operation. Failure to install a non-vented fuel cap on a pressurized fast fill fuel adapter group could cause the fuel tank to be overfilled during refueling. |
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the fuel tank capacity of your machine.
Park the machine on a level surface. Make sure that the transmission control is in the PARK position.
- Clean fuel cap (1) and the filler neck. Remove the fuel cap.
- Fill fuel tank (2) with fuel through the filler neck and install the fuel cap.

Storage position of step group is shown. | |
Use the step group to stand on, if equipped.
Note: Maintain 3-point contact when filling the fuel tank.
Raise the step group before operating the machine.

Do not operate the machine when the step group is in the lowered position. Damage to the step group and machine can occur. Raise the step group to the storage position before operating the machine. |
