New Clamshell Hood Bracket Is Now Used on Certain 980K, 980M, and 982M Wheel Loaders {7251}

Description Of Change: New clamshell hood bracket is now used on the machines listed above. A field service bracket is designed and installed at hood strut base to improve clamshell clearance. The new bracket will provide increased strut extension to facilitate wider clamshell opening in order to clear the core for cleaning and maintenance purposes. The new clamshell hood bracket design will improve the reliability of hood bracket.
Adaptable To: The parts listed in Table 1 are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all machines after the listed serial numbers.
