  7. If no error occurs, the calibration was completed successfully.

Test Procedure

Use the following procedure to verify the joystick calibration.

Note: The hydraulic activation lever should be in the LOCKED position during the test procedure.

  1. Enter the "Service" menu on the monitor.

    1. Enter password "9992".

  2. Select "Status" menu.

  3. Select "Operator Input".

  4. Verify that the joysticks read 0% when all the control levers are in the NEUTRAL position.

  5. Move the joystick to the full BOOM RAISE position and verify that the "Boom Lever Position" reading is 99 to 100%.

  6. Slowly return the joystick to the NEUTRAL position.

Note: Verify that the "Boom Lever Position" reading immediately reduces from 100% when coming off end stop and has a smooth transition to 0%.

  7. Move the joystick to the full BOOM LOWER position and verify that the "Boom Lever Position" reading is -99 to -100%.

  8. Slowly return the joystick to the NEUTRAL position.

Note: Verify that the "Boom Lever Position" reading immediately increases from -100% when coming off end stop and has a smooth transition to 0%.

  9. Repeat Step 5 to Step 8 for the following functions.

    • Stick Lever Position

    • Bucket Lever Position

    • Swing Lever Position

    • Left Joystick Thumbwheel (if equipped)

    • Right Joystick Thumbwheel (if equipped)

    • Left Attachment Pedal (if equipped)

    • Right Attachment Pedal (if equipped)

Note: If the joystick function does not meet the test procedure specifications, then perform the calibration procedure again.
