Description of Change: The "Transmission Oil Level - Check" procedure has been improved for the M-Series Medium Wheel Loaders. The Operation and Maintenance Manual on SIS Web has been updated to reflect this change. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil Level – Check" procedure for your specific model.
The "Transmission Oil Level Check Engine Speed" has been changed to 800 rpm.
The engine will now run at the "Transmission Oil Level Check Engine Speed" for five minutes after an ignition key switch cycle. A complete shutdown of the engine and the ECMs is no longer necessary.
Updated engine software is required for this functionality. Refer to Table 1 for more information.
