Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Front) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the steering column.
- Disconnect hose (1) .

- Remove bolts (2) from wiper arm (3) and wiper arm (4). Remove wiper arms (3) and (4) .
- Remove shaft seals (5) .

- Remove nuts (7) and nuts (6) .

- Remove plastic washers (8) .

- Remove rubber washers (9) .

- Disconnect harness assembly (11). Remove wiper motor assembly (10) .

- Remove bolt (12). Remove bolts (15). Remove wiper motor (13) from bracket assembly (14) .

Installation Procedure
- Install wiper motor (13) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten nuts (6) to a torque of 13 ± 2 N·m (115 ± 18 lb in).
- Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 38 ± 2 N·m (28 ± 1 lb ft)
Note: Be sure to hold nuts (6) steady while tightening nuts (7) .
- Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 14 ± 2 N·m (124 ± 18 lb in).
