An Improved Method of Attaching Fuel Pressure Sensor Harness to the Engine of Certain 980H Wheel Loaders Is Now Used {1261, 1262, 1408}

Description of Change: The new way of attaching the fuel pressure harness to the engine reduces harness wear.

The new 389-0281 Pump Harness As is a direct replacement for the old harness.
The new procedure is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines.
The change is effective at the factory with the machine serial numbers that are listed in the table below.

- Remove the old harness
- Attach the harness (3) to the clip using a 7.9 mm (0.3 inch) tie wrap (1). Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2.
