Extended Oil And Oil Filter Change Intervals {1300,1318}

3304 Natural Gas Engines

Description of Change: Changes have been made to the 3304 Natural Gas Engine to increase the engine oil and oil filter element change interval. The change is possible because an oil pan with more capacity and larger oil filter element is now used.

The new engine oil and filter element change interval is 750 SMU. The refill capacity for the 3304 Engine including the oil filter element is 31.2 liters (8.25 U.S. gal).

Adaptable As: The changes to increase the engine oil and oil filter element change intervals are in effect with 3304 Natural Gas Engines (37Y1019) and can be adapted to all 3304 Natural Gas Engines. The parts shown in the charts, when used together, can be used to increase the engine oil and oil filter element change intervals.

Location of the S1591 Bolt and 5M2894 Washer.
