Open the battery compartment on the left-hand side of the cab platform.

Battery terminals in left-hand battery compartment | |
Clean the battery terminals and the surfaces of the batteries with a clean cloth. Coat the battery terminals with petroleum jelly. Make sure that the battery cables are installed securely.
Additional Batteries - Clean (If Equipped)
Two battery compartments are located on the right-hand side of the cab platform. There are two batteries in each right-hand compartment arranged similarly to the batteries in the left-hand compartment.
Clean the battery terminals and the surfaces of the batteries with a clean cloth. Coat the battery terminals with petroleum jelly. Make sure that the battery cables are installed securely.
