Three fans are mounted in the middle of the cabinet behind the metal shield of the cabinet for the Flywheel.

Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR7654, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Flywheel Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.
Note: Remove Fan (2) before removing Fan (1) and Fan (3) .
- Disconnect the two wire harnesses that connect to the fan housing.
- Remove the four bolts that hold the fan assembly in the cabinet.
- Remove the fan assembly from the cabinet.
Installation Procedure
Note: Install Fan (1) and Fan (3) before installing Fan (2) .
- Position the fan assembly into the cabinet. Refer to Illustration 2.
- Install the fan assembly to the cabinet with the four bolts.
- Connect the two wire harnesses to the wiring in the cabinet according to the labels on the wire. Refer to Illustration 3.
