Start By:
- Remove the air inlet shutoff. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Inlet Shutoff - Remove and Install".
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (6). The weight of aftercooler (6) is approximately
240 kg (530 lb) . - Remove bolts (7) and aftercooler (6).
- Inspect the seal around the aftercooler core. Replace the seal if the seal is worn or damaged.
- Remove the O-ring seals from the aftercooler core tubes.
- Inspect the air plenum for debris. If debris is found, remove the inspection covers and clean the air plenum. Find the source of the debris and correct the problem.
