Description of Change: The front differential housing may require machining prior to assembly on certain AD55B Underground Articulated Trucks. The machining of the front differential housing will improve differential carrier assembly.
Adaptable To: Machining of the front differential housing is adaptable to AD55B JNW1-219.
Machined front differential housings are effective in production with AD55B JNW220-UP.
Refer to the following procedure in order to machine the front differential housing.

Procedure to Machine Front Differential Housing
- Reduce 45? degree chamfer (A) from 5 mm (0.196 inch) to 3 mm (0.118 inch) at four locations. Refer to illustration 1.
