The implement hydraulic system controls the operation of the bulldozer blade. The implement hydraulic system also controls the operation of the rear attachments. The hydraulic system can be different from one machine to the next machine according to the attachments that are on the machine.
If the machine is equipped with a standard bulldozer blade, the machine will contain the following items: control valve group for the bulldozer (7), a tilt cylinder (11) and a single lift cylinder (10).
All rear implements are connected to the implement hydraulic system through the rear implement connection point (6). If the machine is equipped with a ripper, there will be an external control valve group for the ripper (3). There will also be two ripper lift cylinders (1) and two ripper tip cylinders (2).
Hydraulic oil is drawn from hydraulic tank and filter (15) by implement pump (14). The implement pump sends oil to implement control valves (3) and (7). When the operator moves the blade control lever or the ripper control lever, an electric current is sent to the appropriate proportional control solenoid. The solenoid directs pilot oil that shifts the control valve in order to send pump oil to the appropriate hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic cylinders move the blade or the ripper.
At the same time, signal oil is sent from implement control valves (3) and (7) to implement pump (14) in order to regulate pump output.
