Drive Shaft - Lubricate
Note: Remove the drive shaft cover from the generator drive shaft.

Wipe off the fitting before any lubricant is applied. Use Cat Multipurpose Grease NLGI Grade 2.
Refer to the "Lubricant Information" section in the latest revision of the Special Publication, SEBU6250, "Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations" for detailed information about lubricants. This manual may be found on the Web at Safety.Cat.com.
Check the torque on all drive shaft bolts.
