Silicone Rubber Hoses Available For Engine Oil Cooler Water Lines{1378,1380}

Description of Change: Longer life hoses are available for parts service for the inlet and outlet water lines for engine oil coolers on the above models. These hoses are made of silicone rubber which is more resistant to high temperatures.

Adaptable As: The new oil cooler hoses for parts service can be used as direct replacements for the former oil cooler hoses. The new hoses have the part numbers on them, and are identified by either color, blue or green.

The new hoses also require two, different new clamps. The new clamps have a smaller effective tightening range needed with silicone hoses. See illustration for locations of new clamps.
